ODD THOMAS is a film that brings back the feel of THE FRIGHTENERS. Not only does Anton Yelchin remind me a little of Michael J. Fox, but the film almost has the same setup - A guy can see the dead and is trying to help people not be dead. This is based on Dean Koontz' novel of the same name. Stephen Sommers directs as well as pens the script. This is one of those limited released films that's out this weekend (Feb 28, 2014) but I'm sure it will be a good watch when it shows up on demand. Also stars Addison Timlin and Leonor Varela.
